“Socio-Spatial Media” or “Spatio-Social Media”?

Ok, I think it is time to get back to blogging…My last post happened at the early stages of one of the worst years of my life and my online productivity was shut down wholesale.  All of the broken links were the catalyst that shut down shop. I was operating under some assumptions that were dead wrong.

But 2010 is a new year and the worst acts of the circus are over and gone. So why not give it the old circus clown try again with a brand new red nose?

Ok, now that that’s over, I’ll get right down to business…

I will begin with an ” cross post of something I did today that could become a significant defining moment in my academic/professional career…(but I have said this before and I was again wrong. dead wrong. but whatever. what have I EVER had to lose?)

I just googled “spatio-social media” and “socio-spatial media” to see if there was such a subset of social media.
That’s because I needed a catchy and intuitive phrase to describe the essence of my particular research. Well, both of them turned up zero hits on google. Does that mean we “own it” if I publish the phrase here and now?
